It’s hell on Earth and the city’s on fire.
Inhale, inhale there’s heaven.
I don’t know why I shoot what I shoot. When I compose I guess I see it as one might see painting. This is especially true lately as I’ve been really inspired by the beautifully odd and abstract urban landscapes of South Philly. A block of color here, another block there, some graffiti and torn flyers and big smattering of blue here. I’ve even noticed lately that I think I’m trying to remove the human element entirely, in spite of the fact that that’s what they were made for. We don’t treat these buildings and practical man made structures as ancient monoliths or artful sculptures, but I think that’s how my mind sees them and I’m liking it. We are always surrounded by art and drama, we just have to take notice. | #savephilly #explore215 #howphillyseesphilly
